Book with Confidence

At the heart of our business, our core values drive our decision making with a focus on integrity, loyalty and excellence and we are committed to protecting our guests, and our owners.

Whilst we recommend having adequate holiday insurance in place, to provide you with that extra peace-of-mind when booking your holiday, we assure you that you can book with confidence.

Should you need to cancel or your holiday be affected by events such as COVID-19, our fair cancellation and refund policy is in place.

We hope that our flexibility and assurance outlined below gives you the confidence to start counting down the days to your luxury Cornish stay with us.

Cancellation Policy: Overview

Cancellations due to Covid-19

In circumstances where you need to cancel your stay due to a National Lockdown or Tier Restrictions preventing you from travelling, we offer you the option to defer your holiday to alternative dates or cancel your booking and receive a refund (less a £100 booking fee and any costs incurred by us).

Please note, if you are unable to stay due to the following reasons, our standard cancellation policy will apply and we recommend you refer to your holiday insurer:

  • If you or a member of your party are diagnosed with Covid-19 within 14 days of your arrival date.
  • If you or a member of your party is quarantined or has been asked to self-isolate either by the track and trace process or a medical practitioner.
  • If you or a member of your party is denied boarding as a result of failing pre-boarding Covid-19 checks and such transport was required for you to stay in the property.

Standard cancellation policy

We fully understand that the unexpected can happen and plans can change.

Whilst the £100 booking fee, and 25% deposit is non-refundable, we will always try to refund you as much as we can should we be able to re-sell your holiday.

Where you decide you have to cancel your stay (with the exception Covid-19 as detailed above), we will try to re-sell the holiday for the full length of your original booking.

If we are able to resell any or all of the dates of your stay, you will receive a refund, which will be the difference in price between the cost of your holiday, and the price that we sell the cancelled holiday for.

The £100 booking fee, and 25% deposit will also be deducted from your refund, if you are cancelling within 60 days of your stay.

If you cancel outside of the 60 day period, you will be refunded the full cost of your stay, minus the 25% deposit, and £100 booking fee.

We do of course still strongly advise that you have holiday insurance in place that includes holiday cancellation cover as sometimes plans change at the very last minute and we cannot guarantee we will be able to resell your holiday.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend you consider taking out a suitable insurance product to cover against unexpected costs such as cancellation charges, curtailment or delay to your stay and that such cover includes adverse weather conditions, illness affecting you or any member of your booking party, transportation cancellations which may prevent you from travelling to or staying at the Property.
