Fisherman’s Cottage Nestled in the Heart of The Warren

Set in the heart of St Ives’s character and heritage, Coral Cottage has been thoughtfully created for the perfect holiday, whether you’re a couple or small family. Step out from your holiday door to the bustle of harbour life and The Warren, take in the breathtaking beach scenes of the beach, and browse the curio shops and galleries. This split level cottage oozes cosy calm, and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a bijoux kitchen and dining space / living area, and two separate outside areas, one with a magnificent view of the harbour and sea.

Arrive into the hub of the cottage, the open plan lounge and dining area. This spacious layout is perfect for holiday life as the family gather over fine food and fun conversation about what the week has instore. The kitchen is small, but packed with everything you could need to create an idyllic Cornish inspired menu. Climb the stairs to the 2 bedrooms; The Master dressed to impress in soft pinks and white hues. This light and sunny room invites lazy lie ins and restful nights. The smaller second bedroom has a bunk bed and storage area for essentials, perfect for 2 children. The family bathroom is on on split floor and hosts a bath, over head shower, toilet and basin.
Just outside the front door is a terrace with a table and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the world go by. At the rear of the house, up the granite steps, is the perfect spot to store your bucket and spades, wellies and wet gear. When it comes to jackpot locations, Coral Cottage is perfectly placed as you can soak up the stunning sea and harbour views from the privacy of your own courtyard. The courtyard is fenced with a private gate to stop curious pooches from escaping!

Walk out of the cottage, turn left to head to the shops and harbour, or right where you will find the nearest beach offering golden sand and superb swimming waters. Popular with local surfers this is the place to take to the waves whether young or just young at heart. St Ives offers so much for all, if eating out is on the agenda then you really will be spoilt for choice from the freshest of fish straight from the bay, more cosmopolitan choices or simple fish and chips on the quay. The galleries and potteries are well worth exploring for the perfect souvenir or dip into cafes and chat with the locals. The West of Cornwall is a joy to explore as the coast road takes you along some of the most beautiful seascapes in the country down towards Land’s End and windswept coves. Head over to the South coast for a contrast of scenery with the sheltered sailing waters of Fowey and Falmouth, The Roseland Peninsula or The Lizard Point.

  • Bedrooms

    The master bedroom is a calm and peaceful oasis after a day of exploration and activity. It’s cavernous height presents a room of immense proportions within a small cottage. There are many original features which have been preserved

    The bedroom is also furnished with modern amenities like WiFi speakers, central heating and the latest Simba Hybrid mattress, accent lighting to suit your moods - all of which to enhance your stay-in experience.

    A second bedroom is designed for upto 2 children. There is a bunk bed with brand new mattresses, cosy bedspreads, toys, books and fairy lights to soothe them into peaceful slumber.

  • Bathrooms

    The bathroom is decorated in a soothing blend of neutral greys, greens and whites. The bath is a large double ended perfect for that bubble filled soak at the end of the day or fun bath playtime for children. There is a thermostatic shower with good water pressure and warm water for a satisfying shower.

    There is a small outdoor seating area to enjoy your morning coffee and evening cocktails or tea. On the back, you get breath taking views of the harbour pier. On the front, you are sitting in The Warren and watching the people go by.

    Dogs are welcome at Coral Cottage - However due to the cottage being terraced, with neighbours, they are not to be left unattended at the property at any time.

  • Parking

    There is no allocated parking at the property, although there is a Public Car Park to the rear of the Cottage.

    Lovely cottage slap bang in the middle of St Ives. Nice views from the top of the cottage and near absolutely everything. Mike is a great host and quick to respond if any issues. A chilled bottle of Cava left for us was a nice touch.

    We had a fab weeks break in St Ives and this cottage is perfect for exploring the town and beaches. With our 4 year old in tow it was a short walk to everywhere and the beaches moments away. Some lovely food spots, The Searoom on the harbour is excellent for tapas and gin and breakfast at Porthmeor beach cafe is beautiful! Loved our stay even with the changeable weather! We hope to return soon!
